SE 1526 66/129 (Lower Fold Cottages)


Mid to late C17 part of same house. Originally as No 47. Two storeys, sandstone
"brick" and gritstone. Stone slate roof. Four and five light chamfered mullion
windows in splayed reveals. Chamfered doorway with shaped lintel. Massive dripstone
buttresses support front. Interior of No 51 retains remains of stud partitions and
chamfered shaped lintel fireplace. Now used as outhouse.
