Formerly part of a farmstead known as Holme Bank Farm. C17 barn lies between road
and the house which is a rebuild of circa 1840, its main front facing south. Two
storeys, sandstone "brick". Three window front with corniced doorway. Stone slate
roof. Older rear part now as wing with flush quoins. The barn abutts to rear and is
dated 1687, coursed sandstone with stone slate roof. Flat roofed midstrey.
Internally the roof is carried on king post trusses, 3 of them with straight braces.
