Includes No 39 Manor Row. Part of the same block as the Yorkshire Bank. Circa
1895-98 by J Ledingham, architect of the Bank. Flemish Renaissance details. Tall
4 storey ashlar sandstone facades composed of 2 bay giant pilastered arcade rising
to paired steep gables surmounted by small broken pediments on baluster supports.
Shallow stone mullioned bow windows to first and second floors with shallow swept
parapet above, set in front of third floor window in gable. Panelled piers articulate
ground floor with entablature continued from Bank front. Modern shop fronts.
