Late C18 and early C19 row. No 55 a low house, fairly large irregularly coursed
sandstone "bricks", large quoins. Stone slate roof with 2 small stone framed
dormers. Two light square mullion windows and squared jamb doorway. Nos 57 to 63
are 2 storey cottages of similar build though not all of one date. Stone slate
roofs carried down over rear outshots. Two light square mullion windows with
single lights over doorways. Included for interest as a cottage row.
