Barn. Late C16, contemporary with Lake Farmhouse (q.v.) with later alterations.
Rubble, large limestone quoins, some brick, hipped triple roll tiled roof.
Front has cart entry rising to eaves height, closed by corrugated iron, some
brickwork to left side. Right return has 3 small square openings with timber
lintel at lower level, 5 pointed arched ventilation slits at upper level, blocked
door with segmental head to right, plinth formed by large blocks of rubble.
Left return has ventilation slit at lower level to right, blocked door with
timber lintel, later opening to eaves height to left, C20 lean-to. Rear and
interior not accessible.
