C17 farmhouse of 2-storeys, coursed gritstone. Windows remullioned in part
circa 1800. Stone slate roof with saddlestones and kneelers. Circa 1800
corniced chimneys but original external stone chimney stack with offsets to
rear. One original 4 light chamfered mullion window, the others 3 light square
mullion in squared surrounds, and one slightly later 2 light window on ground
floor. Chamfered jamb 4 centred arch doorway in squared head, the lintel
inscribed L B 1649.
