The Ash Tree
GV II
House now restaurant. Late C18 with mid-late C19 alterations. Coursed squared
stone, stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 5 bays, wing to rear left. Plinth, quoins.
C19 doorway with columns, pilasters and console hood with cornice and blocking
course. Flanking C19 canted bay windows with shaped parapets. lst- and 2nd-floor
windows have plain stone surrounds with raised cills. c1980 windows throughout.
Shaped gutter brackets on table. End stacks. Left return: arched window to centre
of 2nd floor.
