Well head gear and housing. Mid to late C19. Iron and timber mechanism
in an open square timber house with a pyramidal tiled roof. The well
head winding gear is hand operated with a large outer handle turning a
small cog wheel on the lower axle engaging a larger cog wheel on the
upper axle which has a central timber wheel over which the lifting rope
passed. Well House is not listable.
