The Mount

II


C16 brick house rebuilt from eaves level up in C19. Cruciform with C18 and C19 wing
to western arm. Original moulded stone doorway on east in slight projectin now
rendered. Blocked round-headed windows on return. Windows mullioned with leaded
lights. Tiled roof with 3 shaped gables and stone finials. Three shafted central
chimney stack. Remains of C16 oak staircase inside over entrance.
