3 houses. Early C19. Render to front, stucco to left side,
single-storey brick rear extension to left end (No.35),
coursed squared limestone rubble to right side and rear; Welsh
slate roofs; two rendered ridge stacks, one rendered stack on
rear slope to right, 2 brick stacks to rear extension. Range
of 3 houses with 2-storey lean-to extension to right side
(No.50), single-storey extensions to rear.
2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. First floor has one
6/6-pane sash in segmental headed plain reveal, two 2-light
glazing bar casements and one blind window in similar reveals,
C19 two-light timber casement in plain reveal with exposed
timber lintel in lean-to to right. Ground floor has two
2-light timber glazing bar casements in similar reveals to
first floor windows with vermiculated keystones, one blind
doorway with similar reveal. Ground floor of lean-to has one
2-light timber casement, leaded light to left, in plain reveal
with exposed timber lintel. Ground floor of house to left
(No.35) and part of ground floor of centre house (No.52)
obscured by extensions, to left rear extension of No.54 Querns
Lane (not included), to centre brick single-storey extension
to front with plank door to right side giving access to house
(No.52); entrance to No.50 via plank door to right side which
has further C20 door and casement windows.
Left side (No.35) has one 6/6-pane sash in plain reveal with
projecting cill to first floor, ground floor has one plank
door with applied moulding in plain reveal, one blocked
doorway and 3 blocked windows.
INTERIOR: No.50 has chamfered spine beams, early C19
fireplace, plank and muntin door and boarded-in stairs. No.52
has dado rail, simple 2-panel shutters, moulded architraves to
window and door, unchamfered spine beams and early C19
fireplace with fine cast-iron grate and dado rail and shutters
to first floor. Boarded-in stairs. No.35 has shutters and
reveals to 1st floor front, similar beams, plank doors and
early C19 fireplace with cast-iron grate. Boarded-in stairs.
Original roof overall with collar trusses.
