House. Late C18/early C19. Stucco on stone rubble, with front
lightly blocked out as ashlar; end stacks have rendered brick
chimneyshafts with good original chimneypots; slate roof.
PLAN: Double-depth, one room wide with entrance hall to stair
on right.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys with attics; 3-window front of horned
12-pane sashes, those on the top floor shorter than the rest.
Recessed round-headed doorway to right; fielded 6-panel door
up 3 stone steps and fanlight with radial pattern of glazing
bars. Timber moulded eaves cornice. Gable-ended roof. Large
C20 front dormer contains casements with glazing bars. Smaller
rear dormer with hipped roof.
INTERIOR: Not inspected but likely to be of interest.
