II


Public house. C17, extended C18, altered C20. Mud and stud,
rendered, partially underbuilt in colourwashed brick and painted
brick. Half hipped thatched roof and pantile to rear. T-plan,
with later rear wing. Single storey plus attics, 5 bay front,
having off-centre planked door flanked by single plain casements
with to left a further planked door and a similar window. In the
roof a gabled dormer having single light and rendered cheeks. To
the rear a single gable stack and stone coped gable with pantile
roof. Interior retains chamfered girders and wall posts.
