One building, formerly the Salutation Inn. Probably C15 timber-framed building,
restored and refaced after bomb damage in the war. Two storeys. three windows.
Some timbering and close-studding with plaster infilling is exposed in the east
wall, but it is mostly now faced on the ground floor with red brick on a stone
base, above tile-hung. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. Pointed stone doorway
in east front leading to a vaulted cellar of about 1300.
