Built for a Duchess of Bedford in 1876. Now a girls' school. Architect Norman
Shaw. Mansion built of stone with the upper storeys of imitation timber-framing
with plaster infilling. Series of gables containing attic windows. Tiled roof.
Casement windows. Two storeys and attic. Six windows.
