St Mary's Chapel, dated 1601 when it was adapted for Protestant worship, was built
on the site of the shrine of Our Lady of Bradstow. 2 storeys flint-faced with
red brick quoins. Hipped tiled roof. 1 painted arched window is visible. The
right side elevation is of 2 storeys and basement flint-faced with buff brick long
and short quoins. 2 pointed headed mullioned and transomed windows. The ground
floor has a 5 mullioned window. Left side doorcase with painted surround. 6 panelled
door. It incorporates the flint end wall of the mediaeval chapel.
Nos 14 to 50 (even) form a group.
