Late C16, with extensive C18 alterations, Timber-framed, and faced in painted
brick with parapet facade. Red plain tile roof. Two storeys. Three window
range, vertical sliding double hung sashes. Centre front breaks forward to form
2 storey porch, with "Tudor" arch. Original stack with diagonal shafts, rebuilt
at top. Probably originally moated.
