C16 and possibly earlier, timber-framed and plastered, with red tile gabled
roof. Rectangular plan, with 2 parallel cross wings at east end with hipped
roofs, behind early C19, painted brick facade and parapet wall. Two storeys.
Facade is 2 window range C19 vertical sliding double hung sashes with glazing
bars and one blind opening at first floor. Modern casements below. Remainder
2 window range C18 vertical sliding double hung sashes with glazing bars. Lean-to
extension at west end. Original C16 chimney stack. Internally some original
framing is exposed. Originally moated.
