1601 (painted date) timber-framed house of at least 2 builds. Two-storey, painted
brick infill. Plain tile roofs. Two ranges, one L-shaped, running along Dunn's Lane,
gable ended to High Street with rear range at right angles, the other parallel to rear
range in angle of the L. Dunn's Lane range part refaced in brick, exposed timber to
end bay to High Street. Renewed bargeboards. C19 1st floor window and ground floor
front, all in keeping. Original moulded bressumer. Timbers exposed in rear gable and
rear range. Brick stack on north roof slope. Second range taller, set back from High
Street behind modern single-storey extension. Gable end to north with exposed
timbers. Brick stack to rear in valley to rear range.
