fronting Riverside

Small complex of buildings between the Riverside and Dunn's Lane including the Inn,
the former 23 Dunn's Lane and 2 warehouse ranges. All painted brick and plain tile
roofs. Facing east, early C18 house. L-plan. Two-storey and attic. Roofs gable
ended to north, hipped at angle. Brick stack on rear slope. Three gabled dormers to
front, 3 to south side. Wood eaves cornice. Brick corbels below eaves, possibly
indicating earlier roof line, 4 to front, 2 to side. Moulded brick band to front
between floors. To ground floor 2 C19 3-sided bays with tiled roofs and C19 porch
between. Four window range above set to right of facade. C19 sashes. Varied
fenestration to side, 3 glazing bar sashes, one segment headed window. Early door
with intersecting tracery to glazed upper half. Hood on brackets.

Former 23 Former 23 Dunn's Lane adjoining, late C17 to C18 range. Two-storey and attic. Three
dormers. Varied fenestration, 3 windows and loading door above, 4 windows and door
below. Segmental heads to door and 3 ground floor windows. Glazing bar sash to 4th.
To rear running north, former warehouse range. Late C18 to south, C19 at north.
Steep pitched roof to earlier range segment arched openings and eaves loading door
with gable. Substantial roof trusses. Later range gable ended. Brick eaves cornice.

Along Riverside C17 to C18 warehouse. One-storey and loft. Gable ended, east gable
canted to line of main front of house. Five bay interior with massive beams to loft.
