Circa 1849. Timber frame with herringbone brick nogging; single-storeyed;
8 tall wood mullioned windows overall, with "Gothic" cast iron glazing bars;
advanced gabled wing at centre with 2 windows and central doorway; gabled
ends with bold verges and overhanging, bracketed eaves; tiles. The footbridge
and platform canopy have been removed and the station is no longer in use.
