House. c1905. Concrete with a deeply overhanging, hipped slate roof, and
various rendered stacks. Quoins. 2 storey plus attics. 7 bay west front, with
projecting central 3 bays. Round headed central doorway with double panel doors
and fanlight, flanked by single round headed windows, all under a projecting
porch with 4 Ionic columns supporting a balustraded balcony. Above 3 plain
sashes and above again a projecting pediment, with central occuli and strap-work
decoration. Eitherside are single canted bay windows and above 2 plain sashes.
South front, 4 bay, with 3 tall plain sashes to the left and a triple light
glazed door to the right, and above 4 plain sashes. Beyond a single storey
addition. North front has 5 bay wing with pedimented, plain sashes on the
ground floor and plain sashes above. Beyond a 3 storey tower with a lower 2
storey service wing beyond. Interior has a fine wooden Imperial staircase and
typical Edwardian fireplaces and panelling.
