Cottage. Circa 1899 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Coursed Bargate stone with ironstone
galleting and red brick dressings and angle quoins under plain tiled roof half-
hipped to ends. One storey and attics under pentice dormer, tile hung to left.
Hipped roof,tile hung dormer on left hand return front with iron balcony. Ridge
stack to left of centre. Tall gable to centre with tile hung apex. Double leaded
casement dormers opening onto balcony with scrolled wrought-iron railings. One
brick dressed, 3-light leaded casement window to right. Two,2-light leaded case-
ments to left, all with tiled sills. Door of 6 panels to centre under gable, the
top 2 panels glazed, in splay sided recess with egg-shaped window to right. Wall
to left drops in curve. V
