Early-mid C18. 2 storeys and attic. 5 windows on 1st floor. Slightly older 2
storey 2 window extension to right. Steep early tiled roof with a dormer to rear
[part slated at rear also]. Coursed rubble with ashlar band over ground floor
and flat arches to late sash windows. Later Victorian porch with glazed tracery
in gable and cusped trusses. 5 light rectangular bay to left. Glazing bar sash
windows in extension to right. At rear of this gent an original 2 light casement
is retained; also a County Fire Insurance Mark. A mid C19 addition at rear links
with stable (qv). 3 storeys. 2 windows. Red and brown bricks; brick modillion
cornice. Slate roof. 2 light casement windows and a large 3 light casement to
right on 1st floor. Interior:- contemporary [circa 1720] staircase with heavy
turned balusters and moulded handrail rising by short flights in central well.
