House. Early C18. Red Flemish bond brick with brick party wall
stack and a tiled roof with a rear central lateral wing.
PLAN: 2-room right-angle.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. A deep foliate
modillion eaves cornice, good left-hand timber doorcase with
architrave and bracketed broken modillion pediment, panelled
eaves and 6-panel door, the top glazed. Rubbed brick flat
arches on the ground floor, 6/6-pane sashes in flush frames
and dormer with a flat-headed 3/3-pane sash. Rear 2-window
gable, a pair with that of No.3 (qv).
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORY: part of a varied terrace built from the N end between
1705 and 1759, (qqv).
