Cemetery lodge. c1855. Probably by Pritchett and Sons. Coursed
and squared rubble with ashlar dressings and scalloped Welsh
slate roof with ridge cresting. Single-storeyed, with gable to
left with octagonal stack and angle buttresses, and 2-window
return. Doorway to right of gable, in shouldered arch with
hoodmould, and paired trefoiled windows to right. Beneath the
gable, a trefoiled arch contains a plaque recording the
foundation and extension of the cemetery. It is dated 1886,
but may be superimposed on the earlier building. Rear wall
stack.
