Chapel. Dated 1819. Brick with hipped Welsh slate roof and
some stone dressings. Single-storeyed raised over a basement.
Main elevation of 5 bays, with round-arched windows each side
of and between 2 main doorways. Wide 6-panelled doors with
radial fanlights in moulded architraves recessed in arches.
Similar radial detail in window heads, the windows themselves
renewed. The doors are approached up flight of steps with
stone parapet, dividing into 2 branches linked by balustraded
balcony. Stone plinth and string course to parapet. Inscribed
stones over each doorway record 'Independent Chapel Erected
MDCCCXIX'.
