The 2nd of the series of 16 stones set up on the old London road under
the will of Dr Mowse of Trinity Hall. This one has only the trace of a
shield of the arms of Trinity Hall. It was dated 1729. See also Trumpington
Road, and the church of St Mary-the-Great. (RCHM 83).
