House. Late C17 or early C18. Local red brick, plain tile roofs. Two
storeys, L-plan with symmetrical facade of five 'bays'. Parapet gables with
end stacks, plinth and band at first floor; English bond brick coursing.
Half-glazed C19 door to main entrance; four ground floor and five first
floor recessed twelve-paned hung sash windows in segmental brick arches.
Interior has a fine closed string oak staircase with barley-twist balusters
and shaped finials to all newels, stop-chamfered and moulded ceiling beams
and corner hearth to left hand rooms, large cooking hearth to rear kitchen.
