Cottage, part of former farmhouse or homestead. Early and late C17, remodelled late C18 with minor C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed gritstone with ashlar dressings and stone slate roof. Irregular quoins. Two storey.
Street front has two off-centre doorways and single window covered by late C20 lean-to conservatory, to left another single window and above two further windows all uPVC casements in flush ashlar surrounds. Right return has a single former two light chamfered mullion window on each floor.
Rear facade has a C20 uPVC casement and a blocked mullion window on the ground floor and above a single former two light chamfered mullion with glazing bar sash.
INTERIOR, ground floor room right has chamfered spine beams supported on stone corbels with plaster patterned decoration, former fireplace hood has moulded stone surround and plaster overmantle with similar decorative patterning. This room, and left room, have sections of similar late-seventeenth century plaster coving with similar decorative patterning. Upper floor bathroom has another section of decorative plasterwork.
