Orangery. Dated 1897. Ashlar and red brick. Glazed hipped roof.
PLAN: Rectangular 7-bay plan with entrances at centre of west and east fronts.
Classical style.
EXTERIOR: single storey. 7-bay west and east fronts and 3-bay north and south sides; with Ionic giant half-columns and rusticated corner pilasters with an entablature broken forward over the columns and pilasters; centre bay of west front breaks forward as portico with pairs of giant engaged columns and broken pediment with a small oculus; between the columns large round-headed windows with Gibbs surrounds and keystones, windows replaced by C20 galvanised steel window frames. Some of the architectural details are missing.
INTERIOR contains staging.
A rare example of a late Victorian orangery in the Classical style.
