Former bank and surgery, and house. C18. Roughcast stone with slate roof. Two storeys,
five bays, the 1st bay recessed and lower. Ground floor has two windows with
casements to 1st bay; 2nd bay has shop window and entrance under label mould,
casement and 5-panel door; 3rd and 4th bays have entrance with flanking windows
with entablature and leaded glazing, an early C20 insertion. Entrance has
fielded-panelled pilasters and round-headed pediment with plaster cartouche with
the letter "L"; 4-panel door, two lower panels are flush, and top light with
glazing bars. 5th bay has sashed window with glazing bars. 1st floor has
sashed windows with glazing bars; the 1st bay has large window with small-paned
fixed glazing. Two gable-end stacks and one to gable end of 2nd bay. Rear has
outshut and entrance to Bank House. Casements, one horizontally sliding sash
and one sash with glazing bars. End bay projects with recess, steps to 1st
floor entrance to left return and old wide-board door to recess.
