Late C18/early C19. A terrace of red brick houses with slate roofs. Houses
stepped up hillside. Two storeys. One window each (No 2 has 2), all casements
and No 2 has two shop windows. Doors with cambered head linings. End elevation
of No 2 (to Green Lane) rendered. This row of houses was formerly known as
"Hedge Row" (O S 1879). (No 20 apparently incorporates the former No 18).
