My great grandfather said his ancestors lived at Padley Hall, Ripley. His last name is Argyle. Is there any way of finding out if this is the Padley Hall they lived in.

Thanks in advance.

George Argyle born 1780 lived at Padley Hall (I believe) when the Pentrich Revolution happened in 1817, (bicentenary this year) the marchers took his manservant who was hid and forced him to march the route, www.pentrichrevolution.org.uk www.spanglefish.com/pentrichrevolution hope this helps?
