12.7.67 Coal Pit Bridge over the
River Lathkill

GV II


Bridge. Mid C18. Limestone rubble with gritstone dressings, parapets and copings.
Large segmental arch to centre with smaller ones to either side. Projecting plain
band above to either side. Low parapets of coursed squared gritstone with flat
copings. Width of bridge approximately 3 feet. To either end, pairs of square
piers with pyramidal copings.
