- metre north-east of Vestry of the
Church of St John

Headstone. Dated 1760 in memory of an unamed daughter of Samuel Berry. Hamstone.
Upright slab standing approximately 1.5 metre high. Its shaped head is carved with
a winged cherubs head flanked by scrolls. The panel below is surrounded by a frame
enriched with scrolled foliage and flowers. The first word of the inscription is in
Gothic lettering, the rest is in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering. It
records the death of an unnamed (presumably un-Christened) infant daughter of Samuel
Berry.
