Pair of cottages likely to have been one house. Circa early C18 with C19 additions.
Rendered cob walls. Gable-ended thatch roof. Brick axial stack and one at right
gable-end.
Plan: original plan obscured by subdivision but likely to have been 3 rooms with
the left and right-hand rooms heated. At present No 1 consists of 2 rooms -probably
subdivided from one - and No 2 has 2 larger rooms. C19 outshut added behind No 1.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window front - 1:2 - No 1 to left. C19 small-
paned 2-light casements with eyebrows in thatch above 1st floor windows which have
C19 decorative barge-boards with pendant finials. No 2 to right has C20 glazed
porch/conservatory to right of centre with C19 part-glazed door behind and French
windows adjoining it. C20 door to No 1 in left gable-end with thatch roof outshut
behind this end.
Interior: of No 1 only accessible at time of survey and exhibited no original
internal features although they may have been concealed; No 2 may contain more.
