House in row, set back from street frontage. Early to mid C19. Rendered, slate
roof. A hipped roof symmetrical villa with verandah, set behind a railed front
garden (qv). Two storeys, 2 windows, ground floor has canted bows to C20 case-
ments flanking a 6-panel door, top panels glazed, below simple radial fanlight
and in deep reveals. At first floor are 2 plate glass sashes. Box eaves.
Continuous glazed verandah rises to solid cheek to right, and carried on 2
slender iron columns. Although the house has lost its original windows it is
with the wall and railings, important to the street.
