House, one of pair, in street. Early C19 front, possibly on earlier fabric.
Smooth rendered, asbestos-cement slate roof. Broad frontage block with through-
way to left, low pitched wing back left, all set across a double slope, both
down the street and back into site. Two storeys, 1 + 2 windows; all 16-pane
sashes with some early glass. At ground floor a C20 glazed door with overlight
flanked by sashes, with, far left, wide opening to throughway with pair of plank
doors. At first floor are 3 sashes, the second with its head at a lower level
than the other two. Wing at back has C20 door and a 2-light glazing-bar case-
ment. Plinth, dying into pavement. Two stacks at back eaves, in brick, with
very large bases.
