House and shop in row. Probably C18 but C19 and later fenestration. Painted
slate hanging above a rendered ground floor, asbestos-cement slate roof. Three
storeys, 2 windows; at ground floor a late C19 canted bay to hipped roof, left,
and a canted C19 display window with glazed door, 3 light front in 5 panels, and
single light return, under simple fascia and cornice. To centre is C20 glazed
door to floating cornice. At first floor a 4-pane sash, left, and canted bay
over shop front, with hipped roof. First floor has a central 6-pane sash of mid
C19; on each side of this is a lozenge-shaped panel of unpainted slate hanging.
Large rendered stack to left and smaller brick one, right. Included for group
value.
