Narrow frontage house in row. Early C19. Slate hang, slate roof. Three
storeys; to right a 2-storey canted bay with 2:4:2 pane sashes to frieze and
moulded cornice, flat roof; slate hung spandrel panels. Second floor has two
12-pane sashes. To left a portico with slender Doric half columns to entabla-
ture and segmental pediment, 6-panelled door to small overlight, panelled deep
reveals. Small stack to right, deep box eaves. There is a stone flagged
throughway, well stair stick balusters and mahogany hand rail. Deep back wing
to right. Very similar to No 30 (qv) adjoining, but built to higher ceiling
pitches.
