Listing Text

Main 2 storey and basement U-plan house 1681, 5 window E
facade intact with moulded window surrounds and sculptured
dormer heads to 1st floor windows one of which is dated
central main floor doorpiece now French window; good
wood and plasterwork of 17th and mid 18th centuries within
1845-46 2 storey and basement, bay windowed in drawing room
wing added, William Burn school Jacobean with crowstepped
gables and French rococo interior; extensive 19th century work.
Additions on W side house re-orientated, main entrance is
now distinguished by late Georgian single storey additons on that
frontage.
