Description

Originally: Kirkhill Tower, c.1500. Georgianised 1752,
mansion added. Tudorised first half of 19th cent, with
central 3-storey tower flanked by round towers on south
facade. Burned 1884, Falkland top to tower, large additions,
French Rococo interior, Jas. Thomson of Baird & Thomson,
archt, 1885. Home of Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman.
