Notes:
An important and early building in Banff, this structure forms a key corner component of the High Street and Back Path. Plaque above lst floor window inscribed:- 'George Massie, Elspet Morrison l739 God's Providence is our Inheritance'. The segmental fireplace arch suggests the property linked internally to the 18th century property known as the 'Turrets' (demolished) on the site now occupied by the Banff museum and library building of 1902 (see separate listing).
