Listing Text

Dated 1740. 3-storey and dormerless attic house with symmetrical 4-bay street frontage. Harled with painted ashlar margins. Entrances in outer bays, at right is main door. Longer windows in lst floor, slightly shorter in 2nd floor; 2 small round attic vents in centre of shaped gable; decorative datestone panel in centre of frontage.
Timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing in ground floor, 15-pane in lst floor and 9-pane in 2nd floor. Curved skews to shaped gable with centre apex stack; slate roof.
INTERIOR: no original internal features survive.

Datestone as shaped cartouche decorated with carved thistles with initials IG MS dated 1740. House restored and and modernised internally circa 1970.
