Notes:
Home of George Garden Robinson (circa 1756-1844), son of George Robinson, thread maker, and allegedly built for himself in 1778. G G Robinson and his father (see Boyndie Street) were Provosts of Banff almost continuously between 1790-1831.
Note that the S wing of 32 High Street now forms separate dwelling with 30 High Street and is listed separately. Porch, renewed panelling and some internal features suggest re-furbishment l825-30: stylistically this work was by either Archibald Simpson, Aberdeen, or William Robertson, Elgin.
