Listing Text

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic, wide 3-bay house with later shop fronts in ground floor. Squared tooled granite ashlar frontage, harled return bay to Back Path. Centre entrance with panelled door flanked by shops of circa 1900 with slender cast-iron column jambs to plate glass windows; continuous corniced fascia board.
Regular lst floor front windows with 12-pane timber sash and case glazing; original bowed wallhead slate-hung dormers with tripartites; 6-pane glazing to centre light, plate glass to side lights, also timber sash and case; dominant modern box slate-hung box dormer in centre.
Single lst floor window in return gable with plate glass glazing. Pair corniced rear stacks; piended slate roof.
