Description

Probably c.1715 much rebuilt 1850s. Quadrilateral, approx.
400 x 300 yards, rubble-built; E. gate has alternately fluted
and rusticated gatepiers with ball finials, S. gate on Castle
Road square piers with angle rustication and ogee and ball
cupping flanked by much repaired footgates.
