Cemetery, Clark Monument

Circa 1870 by William Smith, the local architect and builder. The main tomb to Thomas Clark who died 1859. Open arcaded cruciform reliquary type with Purbeck shafts, weathered stone roof. Gabled arcades heavily moulded and foiled. Foiled blind ovals to main gables. Central faceted slab of pink granite. Moulded plinth with further names inscribed below. Surrounded by a box hedge.
