6/273 The Poplars Inn


II


Inn. Late C18 and early C19. Painted rubble stone, stone slate
roof with brick stacks. Two-storey, 3-window. C20 gabled porch to
left and right, two 12-pane sashes between. First floor of left
hand range has two sashes, right hand range has blind first floor
sash and Welsh slate roof. Right return has C20 ground floor
casements and small 12-pane sashes to first floor. C20 addition
currently being built to rear and interior remodelled (July 1987).
