906-1/20/252 Aqueduct approximately 40 metres
over River Calder at SD 8437 3225

Canal aqueduct. 1795-96. Robert Whitworth, engineer. Coursed
dressed stone, many of the blocks with shortbread
vermiculation. Single semi-circular-headed arch with radiating
voussoirs. Pilasters to either side. Tapered wings. Squared
string course and squared coping.
